We have a great short-term opportunity for a Podiatrist to join our Ageing Well Service and help us maintain continuity of care for our community while one of our team members is on leave.

About the role

Working within our Ageing Well Service, you will provide comprehensive, evidence-based podiatry care to clients experiencing a range of foot and lower limb conditions.

You will undertake assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and ongoing care, while working alongside Allied Health clinicians, medical and community services and other health professionals across the City of Yarra.

Your work will include:

• Providing high-quality podiatry assessment, diagnosis and treatment.

• Developing collaborative treatment plans and Goal Directed Care Plans.

• Working across disciplines to support holistic, person-centred care.

• Building strong relationships and referral pathways with internal and external health professionals.

• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Contributing to the ongoing quality and development of our podiatry service.

Depending on the timing of the placement, there may be a period where you work as the sole Podiatrist within the service, so we are looking for someone who feels comfortable working with a good degree of autonomy.

About you

You are an experienced and thoughtful Podiatrist who can step into a busy community health environment and quickly build rapport with clients and colleagues.

You will bring:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration.

• At least two years' experience in community-based podiatry within a multidisciplinary environment.

• Strong clinical judgement, assessment and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to confidently manage your workload and priorities.

• A warm, clear and respectful approach to working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Current CPR training, or willingness to undertake it.

• A current NDIS Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain these.

Experience with CHSP, community health funding streams, goal-directed care planning or TrakCare would be welcomed but is not essential.
