About the role

Are you looking for a leadership role where you can shape service delivery, support a committed team, and make a meaningful difference to the client experience?

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Manager to lead the delivery of high quality, culturally safe reception and administrative services at North Richmond Community Health. Working closely with the Chief Corporate Officer, this role leads a dynamic team of administration staff and plays a key part in supporting clinical and program delivery across the organisation.

This is a people focused role with a strong emphasis on service improvement, systems management, and collaborative leadership.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing day to day leadership, mentoring, and performance support for our reception and medical admin teams
• Overseeing triage processes and ensuring excellent customer service across all client interactions
• Managing billing processes, health fund claims, and the secure handling of medical records
• Leading service reviews and continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency and integration
• Working closely with internal stakeholders including the Medical Practice Manager, Head of Clinical Services, and Program Managers to ensure streamlined administrative support

About you

Are you an organised and values driven leader who thrives in fast paced, community focused environments?

You’ll be a strong communicator and skilled administrator with a hands on approach to leadership and problem solving. Your ability to engage with diverse teams, streamline systems, and model excellent customer service will be key to your success in this role.

To be successful, you will have:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar administration management role within healthcare
• Demonstrated experience leading, training and mentoring administrative teams
• High level of computer proficiency, including MS Office and patient management systems
• Experience with patient and health fund billing
• Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• A commitment to inclusive practice, collaboration and continuous improvement

Bonus points if you also have:
• Experience working with multicultural communities
• The ability to speak a community language
